Description[]
The archer can designate one arrow to be an arrow of slaying. This arrow has a staging bonus of +5, causes maximum damage, plus the damage dice are rolled 1 extra time. Additionally, if a target takes damage from an Arrow of Slaying, the target must immediately make a FORT(100) test or die instantly. If the arrow is designated to slay a particular individual, then it only works on that individual creature, but the difficulty of the FORT resist test rises to 125.
It takes 1 full week and the expenditure of 1 Karma to enchant an Arrow of Slaying. At no time can the archer ever possess more than one Arrow of Slaying. If designed to slay a particular individual, the archer must first obtain a personal artifact of the would-be victim (hair, blood, clothes, etc.). The arrow will only function for the archer and never for anyone else. Creatures with the Ego-maniacal Villain or Noble Mind traits automatically pass their FORT tests when struck by arrows of slaying.
